Record your footage with a digital video camera. Use a microphone for good sound and a tripod to keep your shots steady. If your camera allows it, use the included Adobe OnLocation application to preview and capture footage on set.
Select "File," then "Capture" in Adobe Premiere Pro to capture camera footage onto your computer. Organize your footage and any additional sound or image files you would like to use in Adobe Bridge, an included software that provides a visual interface to organize and preview media files.
Edit your movie in Adobe Premiere Pro. Once the picture is locked, select "Edit," then "Edit" in Adobe Soundbooth to send audio directly to CS4's sound application for mixing and editing.
Correct color and add special effects in Adobe After Effects. After Effects also works well with Photoshop and Illustrator files for any motion graphics, animation or title work needed.
Import all changes back to Adobe Premiere and finish in the format of your choice. You can print to tape or use Adobe Media Encoder to export for computers, the World Wide Web and other devices.
