Dinner Theaters in Phoenix

Once a highly popular form of entertainment, dinner theater declined during the 1980s to the point of extinction, only to experience a recent revival. Phoenix, Arizona, has several dinner theater establishments in the city's downtown and outlying areas, including the oldest continually operating dinner theater in the state. Although dinner theater is most popular among older people who remember its heyday in the 1950s and '60s, theater fans of any age can enjoy dinner and a show on a Friday night.
  1. The Mystery Mansion Dinner Theater

    • The Mystery Mansion Dinner Theater is the longest-running dinner theater in Arizona, with locations in Phoenix and Tucson. Show offerings change regularly, but the three main presentations are \"Murder at Bedside Manor,\" \"Murder at Greystone Manor\" and \"Murder at Magic Manor.\" Shows are two to three hours long and feature a three-course meal, plenty of audience interaction and a Silver Sleuth award for the person who solves the mystery. Shows are held Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 p.m., as well a Sunday matinee. The theater tends to sell out of tickets quickly, so early booking is strongly encouraged. Private parties are available.
