Common Grounds is one of the most popular comedy venues in Gainesville. It is easily accessible by bus, and offers music and comedy alternating throughout the week. Parking is limited and it's usually crowded, especially on weekends. Public transportation directions are on the club's website.
There's a younger crowd here, with plenty of college students and 20-somethings. It's typically quite loud, so if you're looking for a more relaxed evening, try the Center for Performing Arts.
