This improvisational theater chain was started in St. Petersburg in 1986. It continues to open new clubs and has seven throughout Florida.Featuring world-famous comedians and up-and-coming talent, Coconut's St. Pete also has open mike nights for anyone daring enough to try their talent out in front of a live audience. This club is part of the Tradwinds Sandpiper Resort and has shows every Wednesday through Saturday. There is a cover charge and two-drink minimum at the fully stocked bar. Reservations are recommended and early birds benefit as there is an open seating policy. Parking is free.

This club is inside the Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront Hotel and offers up the same quality international comic buffet as the original Coconuts. Shows take place on Friday and Saturday nights and casual attire is suggested. The club serves a full menu and has a two-drink minimum for the cocktail, beer and wine service. Coconuts Comedy Clubs are no smoking facilities. First come first serve seating policy is in effect and reservations are strongly advised. The Hilton parking lot welcomes comedy club attendees and validates parking.

This eclectic location hosts all types of events from corporate meetings to weddings and receptions. Billed as a "modern art lounge" it is a 1920s retro brick building with 7,000 feet of floor space and overlooking balconies. On Thursday nights it is open to the public and features improvisational comedy shows along with comedy film. A fine dining dinner--prepared by the personal chef of the establishment's owner--is served prior to the entertainment and full bar is open throughout.
