In the dark knight when joker kills all clowns does he say what kill you only makes stranger or stronger?

In The Dark Knight, when the Joker kills a group of clowns in the diner, he doesn't say "What kills you only makes you stronger". He states to the remaining one who was hiding under the table:

"And I thought *my* jokes were bad...".
