Buy your tickets for the festival online at the Wakestock Europe website or from select branches of CD and clothing stores in the surrounding area (see Resources below) or call Ticketmaster. Tickets cost about £75 including camping, however, you can go and watch the wakeboarding competitions for free.
Head to the festival by car and set up camp at the main festival and camping site at Penrhos where there is a free car park. Wakestock is spread over two other festival sites: Pwllheli Marina where the main wakeboard competition is held and Abersoch Bay where you can watch the Big Air Classic competition.
Try travelling by train if driving isn't an option. The nearest train station to the site is Pwyllheli, from there you can get a free festival bus to the campsite. Or get on one of the many direct services to Bangor if you are travelling from London and take a bus to Pwyllheli.
Hop on the free courtesy buses provided by the festival to travel from the campsite at Penrhos to Pwllheli Marina to watch the wakeboarding action. This take places during the afternoons of the festival at a specially constructed slider park where the riders compete to win the title of Wakestock Champion and where you get to stand just metres away from the action.
Watch some of the hottest bands and DJs at Wakestock's Main Stage overlooking Cardigan Bay on Friday and Saturday night. Music starts from about 4pm and runs on both nights until 2am.
Take a break from the music on the first day of the festival to make your way to Abersoch Beach for the Big Air Classic competition where a large kicker (ramp) is floated in the water and wakeboarders are towed over it by a jet-ski. The rider who performs the best trick wins!
Make sure you're at the Main Stage just before the headline act on Saturday to watch the prize giving for the all the wakeboarding competitions from the weekend.
Drag yourself back to your tent as the music ends at 2am on Saturday. The campsite closes by 3pm.
