How to Format a Song Title

In the digital age, a song title needs to follow certain formatting guidelines when it appears in audio files. MP3 is the commonly used audio file format and uses a technology known as ID3. This tagging format allows a song creator to label their audio files with a song title, artist name, album name, release date and music genre. iTunes and Windows Media Player are two popular music players that follow the ID3 tagging guidelines.

Instructions

Open your iTunes application or your preferred MP3 music player.
