How to Create Country Music Karaoke CDs

Karaoke has become increasingly popular over the years. It isn't hard to find a bar or lounge that hosts karaoke at least once per week in almost any area. You can find karaoke in other countries and in remote locations in the United States.
When you go to a bar that has karaoke, the karaoke disc jockey will have a library of music from which to select a song. The only problem with this is that you may have certain songs you like that the DJ doesn't have. Perhaps you have a song that is off the beaten path, or something old that no one remembers.
The way to be able to sing whatever song you like is to create your own karaoke CD. If you like country music, you can create a karaoke CD with country music songs of your choice. This article will tell you how to create country music karaoke CDs.

Instructions

Find a website that allows you to create custom karaoke discs, and browse through the library of country music to make sure the company has the songs you wish to put onto your CD. Two such websites are Sound Choice and Total Karaoke.

    • 2

Compare prices. Sound Choice allows you to join a club and get a membership. The membership costs $25 and includes one free custom karaoke disc with 10 songs on it. Additional songs cost $4 each. Total Karaoke has a standard price of $5 per song.

Choose a website, and visit the section of the website dedicated to making custom CDs. With Total Karaoke, there is a link from the homepage that says Custom CDG. With Sound Choice, there is a link for Custom Karaoke.

Add songs to your compact disc. Once you follow the links for creating a custom karaoke disc, you will search for each song. When you find the country song you desire, can add it to the CD. Once you finish, add the disc to the cart for purchase. One thing to note with Total Karaoke is that certain songs that come from Chartbuster can't go on the same disc as other songs. You'll be able to distinguish this because the song has a C code beside of the artist's name. This isn't noted anywhere on the website. You'll end up with two different discs if you have some songs from Chartbuster and some from the rest of the music library. This has to do with licensing restrictions.

Name your CD. With Sound Choice, you'll have the option of putting a name onto your country karaoke CD. You can call it something like "Terry's Country Music 2009." If you use Total Karaoke, you will need to call the company to place the order instead of purchasing online. Ask the sales representative specifically to put the name you want on the disc. If you don't choose a name, your first and last name will go on the CD as a standard.
