Launch the application by clicking on the software icon. Plug your instrument or mixer into the "Mic" or "Audio In" plug on your computer. Go back to the software window and click on the "Record" button. Start to play your song and the software will record it. Press the "Stop" button on the software window when you are done with the song. Click on the "Export" tab in the "File" tab and export your song to your computer.

Click on the small red button on the top left hand corner of the software window to initiate recording. Start to play your song. Press the "Stop" button next to the "Record" button to stop recording. Click on the "File" tab at the top of the window and click on "Save As." Save your song to your computer in the format you want.
Download iTunes, a software program that allows users to manage the music library on their computers. Click on the song you recorded and drag it into the iTunes software window. Click on the small button on the left hand side of the software window to create a new playlist. Add your song to the playlist and then insert a blank CD into your computer.
