How to Record an Acoustic Guitar on a Loop Station
Looping is a technique used by musicians to incorporate on-the-fly recordings of their own performances in a rhythmic manner in order to accompany themselves while playing and layering recordings. The Boss Loop Station pedal is a popular solution for guitarists who wish to loop during performances, but it is designed specifically to be used with electric instruments only. One way to allow the pedal to be used with an acoustic instrument involves using a microphone in the live performance setup.
