Create a new file in the program by selecting "New" from the "File" menu. Import both of the songs that you want to mix by selecting from "File," then "Import."
You can create up to six new audio tracks by clicking "File" from the top menu, then "Add New Tracks." Drag the first song that you want to play to "Track One." Press the "Play" button to determine a place in the song where want your second song to fade in. Write down selected fade in time from the audio time-line so you remember. Move the second song to track three, place the song at the beginning of the "Timeline Clicker" time you selected for "Track One". Before the "Timeline Clicker" starts, highlight the end selection of the song on "Track One". Then click "Effect" from the top menu. Select the "Fade Out" option, then click "Apply" from the top menu bar.
Highlight and right-click to delete the rest of the song on track one, after the "Fade Out" takes place. Click to highlight the beginning of track three, then go to "Effect" at the top menu bar. Select the "Fade In" option from the drop-down menu, then click "Apply."
Place the "Clicker" at the beginning of the entire song and press the "Play" button to hear if the tracks blend with each other. Pick a new "Clicker" point or reset the effects if you are not satisfied with the results.
Save the song by selecting from the top menu "File," then "Save."
