How to Use a Samson Mic With Cool Edit

Cool Edit Pro is a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) that features multitrack and single audio editing capabilities. Cool Edit Pro became Adobe Audition in 2003, though many of the features are still the same. Samson is an electronics company that designs a wide variety of microphone models. Some of these microphones are USB microphones, meaning they can plug straight into your computer, while some have an XLR output and require a USB audio interface to connect to the computer. Either one of these can be used to record with Cool Edit Pro.
