How to Record a DJ Mix With Fast Track Pro Tools

Digital recording applications are commonly used to capture and enhance DJ performances. DJ mixes are typically created by combining two audio sources. Seamless mixes are made by overlapping the end of a song from one audio source with the beginning of a song from a second audio source. By separating these sources during the recording process, DJs are able to enhance their mixes by making tempo adjustments and adding filters, effects and equalization in post-production.
