The Audio Engineering Society Educational Foundation offers grants for graduate level studies in the field of professional audio. They accept applications from students worldwide who have successfully completed an undergraduate degree program at a recognized college or university and who have applied or been accepted to a graduate or masters level program.

The TEC Foundation for Excellence in Audio awards the TEC (Teaching Excellence & Creativity) Awards Scholarship to help advance the audio, music or media communications education of two to three students each year. Charlie Jones was a successful audio engineer, teacher and mentor to many younger engineers. Since his death in 2006, the School of Sound Recording in Manchester, England, offers a yearly scholarship in his honor, which is open to applicants to the Audio Engineering course.
