When Labor Day weekend rolls around, one of the top night clubs that partiers patronize is Karma. When you come to this club, be prepared to dance to lively house music and mingle with singles for the duration. The cast of "Jersey Shore," MTV's hit reality television show, stopped here to have some fun as it is a staple for visiting party people (as well as local residents). The actual party, located mostly outdoors, really gets going about 10 p.m. and like many clubs on the New Jersey Shore, there is a cover charge.

If you want to visit a club close to the ocean, try Jenk's on Ocean Avenue in Point Pleasant Beach. This Jersey Shore night club is located right on the boardwalk. It opens for partying at around 9 p.m. every night during the summer (Friday and Saturday in other seasons). The DJ plays the latest dance hits, and the bartenders serve drink specials on some nights during certain hours. Expect to pay admission to get in, and there is a VIP area if you want to throw a special private party.

Bamboo is a high-energy night club playing a mix of dance music on the Boulevard in Seaside Heights (the heart of Jersey Shore activities and nightlife). Many of the regulars that visit the Jersey Shore stop at this club on the weekends---it was also featured on "The Jersey Shore" MTV show. Bamboo claims to be the No. 1 singles bar in New Jersey. The bar offers drink specials on specific nights. It is open until 4 in the morning on Friday and Saturday night and there is usually a cover to enter.

Providence is a stylish club located in Atlantic City on New Jersey's shore. It is located inside the Tropicana hotel and casino, which is right on the boardwalk and a few steps from the water. The club plays the latest dance and hip hop music. There is a cover charge and a fairly strict dress code--you must wear "trendy upscale" attire. if you're coming with a party you can book private VIP areas and table service.
