In the center of Vancouver, the Railway Club offers an array of entertainment along with full bar service. Live bands perform weekly, but that’s not all--there are sing-alongs, supper shows featuring indie talent, puppet shows, lectures from experts on various subjects, DJs and a “Railway Roots Jam.” A pub-style menu is also available. The club is open Monday through Thursday until 2 a.m., Friday and Saturday until 3 a.m. and Sunday until midnight.

It is open Thursday at 7 p.m., with an 8 p.m. comedy start time; Friday at 8:30 p.m. with a 9:30 p.m. comedy start; and Saturday at 7 p.m., with 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. comedy start times. If you like jazz, the Cellar Restaurant and Jazz Club in Vancouver is the place to head. Seven nights a week, the club offers live jazz with local, national and international performers. Open since 2000, the Cellar has been named one of the top 100 jazz clubs worldwide several times by the Downbeat International Jazz Club Guide. The venue also has a full food menu available. Voted the “Best Irish Pub” in Vancouver in 2009, the Blarney Stone offers traditional Irish music, beers, liquers and fare seven nights a week.
