Sambuca is owned by a brother/sister team whose vision for the restaurant/jazz club started in Dallas in 1991. The sibling's concept included making Sambuca a place with energy, creativity and an eclectic atmosphere. The success of Sambuca resulted in the pair establishing more restaurants in other cities, including Atlanta.
Sambuca has a nightly schedule of jazz performances. Many of Atlanta and the nation's jazz musicians have performed at this club. Sambuca attracts a professional crowd, particularly those who wish to unwind after a hectic workday. Sambuca's menu includes pizzas, calamari, and grilled beef tenderloins. Sambuca caters to private events, including intimate dinners for 20 individuals or cocktail receptions for 400 people.

Apache Café was first opened on April 9, 2001 by brother and sister team, Asa and Karen Fain. They borrowed art to place on the walls, and as jazz music played, the pair envisioned what it would be like to establish a permanent place promoting creative expression in the form of music and art.
Today, Apache Café is a popular restaurant and nightclub where many local and well-known talents go to perform. The club hosts cutting-edge events such as poetry slams, open mic, film screenings and performance art. Local artists can display their work inside the club and individuals selling arts and crafts can set up mini-shops during events. A variation of music is played at the Apache Café-- such as reggae, funk, world, avant-garde, and soul--but jazz music is its foundation.
