How to Be Nominated for a Grammy Award

According to Grammy.com, a Grammy is “the recording industry’s most prestigious award.” The recipients of this annual award are selected by their peers in the recording arts and sciences field. The final nominations are the only ones that show up on TV, but to get to those names the Grammy committee starts with a list of works and artists "to be considered" for the nominations. For most hopefuls, that process begins with an online application.
