How to Get Auto-Tune for Mixcraft 4

Digital audio workstations such as Mixcraft let you record, edit, mix and master your music using a home computer. One of the advantages of using digital recording programs is that have access to a wide range of software tools. One such tool is Auto-Tune. Originally used as a pitch-correction tool, it has evolved to become a popular creative effect. T-Pain, Cher and Daft Punk all use and "abuse" Auto-Tune to create distinctively "robotic" vocal sounds. You can use Auto-Tune as a third party tool in Mixcraft 4.

Instructions

    • 1

Visit www.Antarestech.com/products. Position the cursor over the "Downloads" tab. This causes a drop-down menu to appear. Select "Product Demo Version" from the drop-down menu. You can purchase Auto-Tune for Mixcraft if you wish, but it's preferable to ensure that it has the requisite functions for your desired application before spending. Should you opt to purchase, no further installation is required. Visit the products page again and select "Upgrade" from the "Products" page. As of June 2011, Antares Auto-Tune Evo costs $249.
