Visit www.Antarestech.com/products. Position the cursor over the "Downloads" tab. This causes a drop-down menu to appear. Select "Product Demo Version" from the drop-down menu. You can purchase Auto-Tune for Mixcraft if you wish, but it's preferable to ensure that it has the requisite functions for your desired application before spending. Should you opt to purchase, no further installation is required. Visit the products page again and select "Upgrade" from the "Products" page. As of June 2011, Antares Auto-Tune Evo costs $249.
Enter a valid email address in the "Email address" box. Use this email address when contacting Antares with support queries.
Scroll down the page and click on the link directly below the header that reads "What product(s) do you want to download."
Select "Auto-Tune Evo" from the options list.
Click the "Select Computer Platform" menu and select your preferred platform, for example "Windows 7."
Click "Select Format" and click on "VST." This is short for virtual studio technology, a universal interface for software instruments.
Click "Download Product." When prompted, select a location for the program, for example "Desktop" or "My Documents."
Double-click the Mixcraft 4 logo on your PC desktop. It may take a few seconds for the program to launch. Mixcraft will automatically open your last edited session. Ignore the session data, such as audio files and effects.
Click "Effects" and select "Preferences." This opens a folder containing a list of currently loaded VST programs in Mixcraft 4. Click the minimize tab on Mixcraft 4 and click on the Auto-Tune folder on your desktop. Drag the Auto-Tune folder into your Mixcraft 4 VST folder.
