      Make a list of people who are responsible for your success. The list should include your parents, spouse or significant other, children and close friends, your fellow musicians and colleagues that played on the record, your record label and professional musical associates, your fans, and your musical influences and mentors. If you are are a religious person, thanking God or a supreme power should be at the top of the list.

      Jot down other ideas that you would like to share with the audience. Some Grammy Award winners use the occasion to express a political or personal sentiment. During times of natural disasters, such as tornadoes and floods, many Grammy Award winners use the opportunity to express sympathy and encourage support for the victims.
