Blues Clubs in NYC

The blues sprang out of the American Deep South in the latter 19th century. Blues musicians, looking for work in the 20th century, headed up to Northern cities like New York City and brought the blues with them. New York City's rich blues history offers the blues fan a number of great clubs, many of which have showcased some of the most legendary blues acts.
