Gospel Music Festivals in Wisconsin

Gospel music celebrates faith and love of God for many Christians. Across the country, gospel music festivals are held so that people can appreciate the music and meet others who are as passionate about gospel, music and Christianity as they are. In Wisconsin, gospel music is often intertwined with bluegrass; many bluegrass festivals also double as gospel festivals.
  1. Buffalo River Valley Bluegrass Gospel Festival

    • Each July, Mondovi, Wisconsin, plays host to the Buffalo River Valley Bluegrass Gospel Festival. The festival, which began in 1998, lasts three days and is held at the hobby farm Shady Lane Acres, rain or shine. Festival lineup includes local artists as well as national bluegrass and gospel acts. The festival has one stage, plus a large tented area. The festival is geared toward families, so no alcohol or drugs are permitted on the grounds. Pets are welcome as long as they are leashed and have constant supervision. The area has camping available, as well as walking and biking trails.
