This Universal CityWalk bar and restaurant enhances the karaoke experience by letting you take the stage with live accompaniment. The 440-seat club has a live band to provide the music for singers Tuesday through Saturday nights. On Sundays and Mondays, the club features backup singers and prerecorded music. The band and singers are proficient in a variety of musical styles including country, rock and standards. As of September 2010, there was a $7 cover charge, but no charge to sing.

Gator’s Dockside, a family-friendly sports bar, offers a karaoke experience just for kids. As of September 2010, the Dr. Phillips location of this Florida chain offers a family night on Tuesdays that features children’s activities, including kids’ karaoke from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Later in the night, bartenders, wait staff and other local hospitality workers take over the karaoke to sing and get cheap or free drinks.

The bar also features live sporting events on television from the UK including soccer and cricket. Authentic British food includes fish and chips, a cottage pie or bangers and mash.
