How to Install Guitar Speakers
Sometimes guitarists who are in search of better tone upgrade the speakers in their amps. Many amps are sold with standard, Chinese-made speakers on board. More expensive American- or British-made speakers can drastically improve the sound of your amp. Different speakers have different characteristics; for example a vinyl speaker will give you a drastically different sound than a cardboard/paper diaphragm speaker.
Installing a new speaker is a relatively simple process that can be accomplished in a few minutes.
