The Fender Prosonic output transformer utilizes an upright, end bell construction. It comes with a pair of 6L6 cables and uses a standard push-pull primary cable. The transformer can mount to the chassis of the amplifier using a mounting center and four screws.
There are three main wires on the output transformer and several secondary wires. The main wires consist of a red center tap, a brown plate lead and a blue plate lead. The secondary wires consist of a block common wire, a green wire that connects to the 8-ohm tap, a yellow wire that connects to the 4-ohm tap and a black common wire.
The transformer weights less than 2 lbs. It is 3.75 inches tall, 3 inches thick and 3.75 inches wide. The mount for the Prosonic transformer is 3.5 inches wide by 2 inches tall and uses four screws.
Prosonic amplifiers connect to the output transformer to appropriately move electrical energy. These amplifiers offer features such as two inputs, a drive mode, nobs for volume, gain, treble, bass, master and mid and a speaker. These amplifiers connect to the Prosonic transformer view the output impedance jack. Amplifiers have an output impedance of either 4, 8 or 16 ohms. Most amplifiers weight around 45 pounds.
