Uninstall your previous version of the software. Access your computer's Control Panel and select the "Add / Remove Programs" link. When the page loads, locate Kazaa Gold within the list of installed programs that will be displayed. Click on the Kazaa Gold link only once to highlight it.
Select the "Uninstall" command option that will be listed at the top of the screen. Your computer will prompt you to confirm that you would like to uninstall the program. Select "OK" to begin the procedure. The uninstall process will begin and run automatically throughout the full duration of the removal process.
Open your Internet browser to download and reinstall the program manually. Click on your Internet browser icon, which can be found on your computer's desktop screen. When your Internet browser opens, clear the search bar at the top of the browser and enter the Kazaa URL address into the blank search bar data form. When the official Kazaa music downloads website loads, click on the lime green log-in link that can be found in the upper-left corner of the page.
Log-in to the website by entering your information into the blank data forms provided. When the log-in portal opens, click on the "Click Here to Download" link. The setup component download window will automatically appear. Click on the "Save" option in the file download pop-up window to confirm that you would like to download the setup file. When this file download process is complete, click "Open" to access the software's installation portal. You will be prompted read and agree to the software's terms of usage prior to conducting the installation process.
Click "I Agree" to begin the installation. You will be redirected to the Kazaa installation portal. Follow all prompts and recommended installation settings that will be given by the manufacturer to configure the program's functionality. Once you have completed this process, you will receive an indication screen that will inform you of the completion of the installation process. Click "Finish" to conclude the installation process. The program should now run automatically.
Click on the "Options" command in the program's menu to update your software. The program will load as the stationary Kazaa download, rather than the premium edition Kazaa Gold portal you are trying to implement. You will need to select the "Update" option within the "Options" drop box menu. The "Update" dialog box will prompt you to enter your log-in information, serial number and subscription information. Enter this information and click "Update" to configure the changes you are attempting to apply. The program should close and restart automatically to process your changes.
Close the program once again when it reopens. Restart your computer to configure all of its recent changes. When the computer reboots, you should now see the Kazaa Gold icon on your computer's desktop screen. This will be your indication that the software has been reinstalled and updated correctly.
