Insert a blank CD-R into the CD burner on your computer.
Start Windows Media Player and click on the "Burn" tab in the top right corner of the screen.
Drag the protected WMA files you want to convert to iTunes into the Burn list on the right side of the screen. If they total more than 79 minutes, you will have to split them up into multiple groups; that is the maximum amount of music you can fit on a single recordable CD.
Click on "Start Burn" when your play list is complete. Windows Media Player will make an audio CD with the WMA tracks you selected. When the burning process is complete, your computer should eject the CD from the drive.
Close Windows Media Player and open iTunes.
Put your newly burned CD back into the disc drive and close it. iTunes will detect the CD and ask if you want to import it into your library. Click "Yes." The files copied from the CD will be iTunes-compatible and free of all DRM.
