How to Change an Album Name

Most people like to keep the music on their computer organized, as it massively simplifies the task of searching for specific tracks. Renaming songs, albums and artists is a simple task to complete, and doesn't take much time.

Instructions

  1. Renaming Albums Within iTunes

      Highlight the song for which you wish to change the album name.

      Right-click and select "Get Info."

      Click on the "Info" tab, enter a title in the box labeled "Album" and press "Ok."

      Change multiple tracks to the same album name by highlighting each of the tracks you want to change and repeating the steps.

    Renaming Albums on Your Computer

      Right-click on the music file you wish to edit and select "Properties."

      Click on the "Details" tab and select the box labeled "Album."

      Type what you wish to name the album and press "Ok."

      Change multiple tracks to the same album name by holding down "ctrl" and selecting each of the tracks you want to change, then repeating the steps.
