How to Play MIDI Song in FL Studio

Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) files are unique and useful files due to their composition and size. Rather than holding recorded audio, they hold instructions about pitch, sound and note. This means that when transferred between music editing programs, the melodies will remain the same and can still be altered in other programs. Transferring MIDI files is useful for sharing and editing melodies.

      Open up FL Studio.

    • 2

Click on "Channels," then "Add One" and choose a synthesizer from the list.
