Open iTunes.
Open iTunes preferences and click the "Import Settings" button. Then select a condensed audio format, such as "MP3," from this menu.
Click "OK" to confirm your choice.
Click "OK" to exit the preferences menu.
Drag the songs you would like to condense to enable more to fit on a CD into iTunes.
Highlight each of the songs, click "Advanced" and choose "Create MP3 Version." Once converted, MP3 versions of each of the songs will appear below the original files.
Open Windows Media Player.
Click the "Burn" tab and drag the songs you would like to condense to enable more to fit on a CD into the "Burn List" that appears within the "Burn" tab.
Click "Start Burn" and insert a blank CD-R into your computer. After doing so, the songs you placed in the "Burn List" will be burned to a CD. Because Windows Media Player does not have a "Convert" function, it is necessary to burn the audio files to a CD. After the files are burned to a CD, you will be able to rip the files from the CD and convert them into a smaller, condensed audio format. However, it may be necessary to split the songs you wish to condense into multiple "Burn Lists" if they will not fit onto one audio CD.
Click the "Rip Settings" button, choose "Format" and select a condensed audio format, such as "MP3," from the drop-down menu.
Click "Rip CD" and the songs will be ripped from the CD, converted into a condensed audio format and saved on your computer.
Open dBpoweramp.
Click "Browse" and choose the songs you would like to condense to enable more to fit on a CD.
Select a condensed audio format, such as "MP3," from the "Converting To" menu.
Click the "Folder" button next to "Output Location" to select where you would like to save the condensed audio files.
Click "Convert" and the songs will be converted into a condensed audio format and saved in the output folder you selected.
