Click the "Windows Media Player" icon from your desktop or Windows 7 programs menu.
Insert the audio CD into the CD-ROM tray. Once detected, select the songs you want to rip. All tracks are selected by default.
Click the "Copy Music" button. The Windows Media Player will automatically copy and place the files in the program's save location.
Click the "Tools" menu, and select "Options."
Go to the "CD Audio" tab, and click "Change" to select a new folder. Once a new location is selected, then click the "OK" button.
Click a second "OK" button to leave the "Options" screen.
