Connect your amplified instrument to the Sanpera II pedal by plugging one of the instrument cables into the output jack on the instrument and the input port on the pedal. This connection transmits signals from the instrument directly to the pedal.
Connect the Sanpera II pedal to your amplifier by plugging the second instrument cable into the output port on the pedal and the input jack on the amplifier. This second connection transmits signals produced by the instrument through the pedal and projects them through the amplifier.
Select your desired effect from the preloaded bank installed in the Sanpera II pedal using the two "bank" buttons on the left side of the pedal. After powering on your equipment, depress either foot switch on the Sanpera in order to activate the effect. Pressing down on the pedal a second time deactivates the effect.
Record segments of audio for looping by pressing the record button on the pedal and depressing the left foot switch. Any audio output from your connected instrument to the pedal records directly into the device. After you have recorded the desired length of audio, press the left pedal again to begin playing the looped material through the speakers. After you have finished using the looped segment, press the right pedal to stop the playback.
Press the "delay" or "reverb" buttons on the right side of the pedal in order to prime these effects for use. Depressing either pedal once activates these effects. Pressing the same pedal again deactivates the effect.
