How to Use the Behringer Delay Pedal

A Behringer Delay Pedal is specific make of guitar pedal used to affect the sound of an electric instrument plugged into the input jack. The delay effect is similar to an echo effect, where the musician can adjust the repetition of the echo in increments. The advantage of a delay pedal is you can easily adjust the feedback and time in real time, which makes it ideal for live and studio performance.

Set up your delay pedal by first plugging the power cord into a nearby outlet, then plugging the input jack into the back of the pedal. Take one of the cables and plug it in the input jack of the delay pedal; the other end you plug into the electric guitar. Take the other 1/4 inch cable and plug it into the output jack of the amplifier. To hear the sound, play the instrument and listen for the effect.

Turn up the knob that reads "effect" on the delay pedal. This will turn up the delay effect and differentiate it from the original sound of the electric guitar. The feedback knob will increase the feedback of the instrument repeating itself. The time knob adjusts the frequency of the delay. The fourth knob controls the delay feature of the Behringer delay pedal.
