Insert a blank CD-R (writable) disc into the computer's CD-ROM deck.
Launch the computer's digital media player application. Windows Media Player and iTunes are the default media player applications for both Windows operating systems and OS-X. This application will be used to import and burn the songs to the CD to make the mixtape.
Import the mixtape playlist audio files to the media player application. This action is usually classified as the option to add files or folders to the media player's library.
Go through the media player's library and find the mixtape playlist. Then highlight, drag and drop the full playlist into the "Burn" panel for the media player.
Click the media player's "Burn" option to apply the mixtape playlist audio files to the CD-R.
