How to Enter ISRC Information Using Toast 9

How to Enter ISRC Information Using Toast 9. Since the latest update of Toast 9, Roxio has merged both Toast and Jam into one application. It used to be that one had to create fades, enter TOC/PQ information, then save as a disc image. It then had to be exported into Toast to burn the disc.

The one major feature that has been absent from this application is the ability to add ISRC coding to the individual tracks. Though it has been incorporated into the application, it is still quite difficult to locate. I'll show you how to set it up properly.

Instructions

    • 1

Open Toast 9. Toast will be located on your computer in the Applications folder.

    • 2

Select preferences and choose "Audio & Video" from the File Menu drop-down.

In the Audio & Video section check the box "Show advanced mastering settings."
This is not checked by default and is what allows us to add the ISRC codes.

    • 3

You may now enter all of the pertinent text information, provided that you have checked the box in the lower left-hand corner of the interface.

    • 4

Once you have these preferences set up, you are now able to add the very pertinent ISRC codes.

These codes will be added in the same drop-down menu as the TOC/PQ menus.
