Find a local public access station near you.
Contact the station to find out about their individual requests. For example, they will probably want you to take an orientation class to become familiar with the equipment and policies.
Consider taking the seminars offered by the station to increase your knowledge of the equipment. Most stations will have all of the filming and editing equipment you need to produce your show, so get familiar with how to use them.
Pass the production test they are likely to give you before you can begin using the station's equipment to produce your show.
Start producing your show! Be creative when writing and filming your show. Make sure it is appropriate for airing on the public access network.
Submit your show for evaluation before it can air. The station will have to approve of your tape before they can broadcast it.
Once approved, take your show to the airwaves, and be sure your friends and family tune in!
