Follow the automated prompts to indicate whether you are calling from the number associated with the account, by pressing "1" for "Yes" and "2" for "No" on the phone's keypad.
Key the four-digit account access PIN or the last four-digits of the account holder's Social Security number into the keypad when prompted to access the main automated menu.
Listen to the automated system for instructions for redirection to the correct department. Press the technical support extension number provided in the automated system's department menu.
Provide account holder identification and the physical address information for the residence where the service is active when the Cox customer service representative answers your call. (In most cases, this information consist of the account holder's full name, address, and last four Social Security number digits.)
Request to add the Music Choice channels to your current cable plan package.
Confirm your current cable plan package when prompted so the representative can determine whether you need to upgrade your digital cable box equipment.
Schedule an appointment to have your new digital cable box equipment installed to your television set. The representative will offer a selection of times.
Program the digital remote controller that will be included with the digital cable box after the hardware installation and setup are complete. The remote will come with a basic instruction manual, so you can program the new box and activate your new channels. Once the programming is complete, your new Cox Music Choice channels will be available.
