Television Stations in Southern Maine

Each of the major television networks--CBS, ABC, NBC, Fox and PBS--has an affiliate station operating out of Portland, the largest city in Maine. Stations broadcasting from Portland provide coverage throughout Southern Maine and Eastern New Hampshire.     • The Southern Maine NBC affiliate is WCSH, owned by Gannett Co., Inc. and is found on Channel 6. The station got its call letters because it originally broadcast from the Congress Square Hotel. WCSH is the home of "Bill Green’s Maine" and "The Green Outdoors," original programming on outdoor and green living in Maine. NBC national programming is aired along with local news, sports and weather produced and aired by the local team.
