Sacramento Television Stations

Sacramento, the state capital of California, lies in the north-central part of the state. The city boasts a 2009 estimated population of more than 460,000 which reflects a growth rate of nearly 15 percent since the 2000 census. To reach this potential viewing audience, several television stations make Sacramento their home, most of which are affiliated with the major networks.
  1. KCRA 3

    • Owned by Hearst Televisions, Inc., this station is the Sacramento area's local NBC affiliate. This station broadcasts network programming, syndicated shows like "Oprah" and "Dr. Oz," and an extensive array of local news programs throughout the week. The station maintains an interactive website where viewers can access the latest news and weather, as well as on-demand video and other content.

    • Covering Sacramento, Modesto and Stockton, this station is the area's local ABC affiliate.
