Check eligibility requirements for the show. Your team must include five members related by blood, marriage or adoption. All members of the team must be U.S. citizens or be eligible to work in the U.S. Team members must not know anyone employed by Fremantle Media, Debmar-Mercury, KCAL-Channel 9, Wanderlust Productions or any TV affiliate that airs "Family Feud."
You and your family members cannot be running for political office, cannot have appeared on more than two game shows in the last 12 months, and may not have appeared on "Family Feud" in the last 10 years.
Go to the "Family Feud" tryout website to see a list of upcoming audition locations. Sign up for a local tryout by sending an email to the address listed. All family members must attend the tryout.
Make a three- to five-minute video of your team if you can't attend an audition in person. Have fun and be creative so your family stands out. Have team members introduce themselves and share something unique. Play a mock round of the game or somehow show the producers why you would make good contestants on the show.
Submit the video online by uploading it to YouTube and emailing a link to [email protected]. In your email, reiterate to the show's producers what is unique about your family and why you should be on "Family Feud." Include photos as well your city and state.
Mail a letter and DVD copy of the video to the attention of the Family Feud Casting Department at Fremantle Media NA's California office (4000 W. Alameda Ave., 3rd Floor, Burbank, CA 91505).
