How to Play on Family Feud

"Family Feud," is an American game show that many people enjoy watching and playing along with in their homes. The premise is that two families are pitted against each other to answer trivia questions and questions about popular culture by determining the way in which the majority of other Americans who are polled will answer the question. The questions are usually not very hard; but sometimes guessing the way the American public will answer a seemingly simple question may not be as easy as the families think. Any American family has the opportunity to apply to play on "Family Feud" by following the steps in the application process.

      Make sure that all of your family members will be available for weekend dates in the coming year. "Family Feud" tapes its shows on Saturdays and Sundays in its studios in Hollywood, California.

      Call the studio at (323) 762-8467 and let them know that you and your family would like to play on "Family Feud."

      The studio will contact you, letting you know if your family has been accepted to play, and when you will be scheduled to appear. Keep in mind that "Family Feud" will give you a stipend for travel expenses if you appear on the show and do not win, but only after the show has been taped. If you win, "Family Feud" will not pay for your expenses.

      Go to Hollywood and play on "Family Feud," at the time your family is scheduled to appear.
