Purchase storage space or a premium membership with the online website resource of choice. The larger your premium package, the more file-storage space you will get. You should purchase a package that serves your streaming video needs. If you plan on hosting several full-length movies, purchase the largest package available.
Provide your email and password when registering your website. This will be your primary login information for your streaming website. You also need to choose the name of your streaming website.
Design your streaming website by choosing one of the pre-made and pre-designed templates. Since you are hosting streaming files, you want your website to be simplistic, as people will visit it for the videos. Consider making a front page that shows that video files you have available and offering links to the files directly. Include a contact page, so people can inform you if your links are broken.
Prepare your video files in terms of formatting. Right-click on each video file and select "Properties" to determine the file type and file player required to play it. Before you load your files onto the website, you need to make sure each of the files is formatted to suit common players. People will often choose files that play with players they already have installed. Choose the most common players to suit a larger audience.
