Cineplanet 16 is the only movie theater located within Atoka. It features 16 theaters, all with DLP Digital Projection. Matinees before 6 p.m. are $7, while later shows cost $9.50 (still $7 for kids). Movies shown in 3D cost an extra $3 on top of the standard ticket price. Cineplanet 16 also offers two party packages. The first includes movie admission, snacks and use of the party room for one hour. The second is a private rental of the theater with the same extras included in the first plan. The Malco Majestic 20 is located in nearby Memphis. It features 20 screens, many equipped with stadium seating, THX and Dolby Digital sound. Malco's offers a special twilight ticket price of $5 for movies starting between 4:00 and 6:00. Regular ticket prices are $5.50 children and seniors, and $6.50 (matinee) and $8 (evening) for adults. Palace Cinema is also located in nearby Memphis, hosting 10 theaters equipped with DLP Digital Projection. Palace Cinema offers a special Econo Pricing hour of only $4 for movies beginning between 5:00 and 6:00. Regular matinees cost $6, while evening movies cost $7. Holywood 20 Cinema is located in Bartlett, less than 15 miles from Atoka. It features 20 screens, all of which show films in digital projection. Holywood 20 also offers a $5 deal for films beginning between 4:00 and 6:00, with child and senior ticket always costing $6. Adult matinees cost $6 as well, with the price rising to $8.50 after 6:00.
