The Cinemark Tinseltown USA theater is located just minutes from downtown Kenosha in Southport Plaza shopping mall. A Lake Michigan resort community, Kenosha offers an active marina, shopping and entertainment districts, museums—including the Civil War and Dinosaur Discovery museums—electric streetcar tours and numerous historic sites. Those with a sweet tooth can tour the Jelly Belly visitor center in nearby Pleasant Prairie.
Tinseltown's 14 auditoriums feature stadium seating that offer unobstructed views for everyone, rocking back chairs with cup holders, digital sound and digital projection equipment. The theater also shows digital 3-D movies that viewers can watch wearing glasses specially made for viewing 3-D films.
As of 2011, adult ticket prices during the week after 6 p.m. are $8.75 and $9 after 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Adult matinees before 6 p.m. are $6.50. Children under 12 and seniors 62 and older can buy tickets for $6. Movies shown in 3-D cost an additional $3.
