Owned by Regal Entertainment Group, the Regal Hollywood Stadium 27 is much like other movie theater megaplexes with stadium seating in each of its 27 theaters that seat anywhere from 200 to 500 people. Three theaters feature 3-D technology. One feature that separates the Regal Hollywood from other theaters is its screening of the latest Indian films from Bollywood. Part of 100 Oaks Mall, the Regal Hollywood is located 10 minutes south of downtown Nashville near the intersection of I-440 and I-65.
The Belcourt specializes in independent films, but it is also home to musical performances and live theater. The theater also offers a variety of membership packages that give members discounts on special events and merchandise as well as preferential seating. Extended benefits vary depending on the level of membership. The Belcourt is a non-profit theater, so any donations or membership fees are tax-deductible. Located on Belcourt Avenue next to Vanderbilt University about five minutes southwest of downtown, the Belcourt is footsteps away from restaurants like the Dog of Nashville and Sunset Grill.

The Green Hills 16 also hosts some premieres in the area, and offers a small selection of independent films. This theater also has a video arcade. A slew of restaurants are within minutes of the theater, and the Radnor Lake Natural Area and Wildlife Refuge is 10 minutes away.
Minutes from Warner Park Nature Center and 20 minutes southwest of downtown Nashville, half of the Bellevue's eight theaters feature stadium seating and digital projection. Mainstream Hollywood movies are the norm, but one of the screens is usually devoted to an independent film. The Bellevue is owned by the national theater operator Carmike Cinemas.
