SteadyStick Camera Mounting Instructions

The SteadyStick is a hand-held camera rig, similar to a steady cam, that allows the photographer or videographer to move without shaking the camera while walking or manually zooming in. The SteadyStick includes a belt bag that allows the attachment of the lower handle, leaving your hands free to manipulate the camera. Mounting a camera to the SteadyStick is a simple, quick operation.

Instructions

    • 1

Remove the camera base plate from the SteadyStick by pressing the safety button on the flat top base of the tripod. The camera base plate will slide off the mounting plate when the button is pressed.

    • 2

Attach the camera base plate to the bottom of your camera just as you would a regular tripod head. Secure the screw by twisting clockwise to hold the base plate firmly to the camera.

    • 3

Slide the base plate into the camera plate on the SteadyStick tripod. Press the plate forward until it locks in place. The camera is now mounted on the SteadyStick and is ready to use.
