Instructions

    • 1

Cover your work area with newspaper or newsprint. Prepare the art piece or photograph and art board you are attaching it to by trimming to the appropriate size for the mat or frame you will be using.

    • 2

Center the artwork on the art board and use the pencil to make reference marks by drawing lightly around the outside of the piece. Remove the artwork from the board.

    • 3

Place the artwork face down on the work area. Use the glue brush to lightly coat the reverse side of the artwork with rubber cement. Coat the art board within the reference marks. Allow to dry thoroughly.

    • 4

Carefully match the artwork to the reference marks and press gently in place. Be sure you have the work centered and exactly where you want it before matching the glued sides together. This forms a strong bond that cannot be moved or removed without damaging the artwork after attaching.

    • 5

Mat and frame the mounted work as desired. Dry mounting forms a permanent bond which will not slip or detach when framed.
