Download and install a copy of a professional video editing program. Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Sony Vegas and Apple's Final Cut are some programs that can remove the watermark (see "Resources"). Fortunately, all of these programs follow the same process to remove the watermark.
Open the video editing program. Create a new "Project." Set the parameters of the project to those of the AVI file. For example, if the AVI file is in NTSC 720P resolution, then click the 720P project preset. To find the resolution for the AVI file, right-click on the file, click "Properties," then click "Details."
Import the AVI file into the project by dragging it into the project files bin.
Drag the AVI file into the project's "Timeline" once the AVI file has been imported into the project files bin.
Left-click once on the AVI file once it is in the timeline.
Click the "Effects" box.
Click "Scale" in the effects box. Scale changes the size of the video. The video is at 100 percent scale unless it is changed. If the video is scaled to 50 percent, then the video will be 50 percent smaller.
Increase the scale of the video until the watermark is shifted off screen. A small portion of the edges of the video will be lost, but not enough to impact the viewer.
Export the AVI file. Click "File" then "Export" or "Save As," depending on the program used. Once the watermark free AVI file has been exported, it can then be burned.
Open Windows DVD Maker. Import the newly exported, watermark-free AVI file into the program and burn it. Test the DVD once it has been burned.
