How to Cool a Can of Soda in 30 Seconds

There's nothing worse on a hot day than reaching for a can of soda only to find it is room temperature. If you can't wait for the can to cool down in the fridge, there is a way to cool it quickly using items you probably have on hand. This tip will cool your soda more quickly than ice alone, since adding salt to the ice lowers the freezing point and allows your soda to be cooled more quickly. This quick cooling method works for cans of beer and bottles of wine as well.
