You can't get Cranidos in Pokémon Diamond. Cranidos is a fossil Pokémon and is only available in Pokémon Pearl.
To get Cranidos in Pokémon Pearl, you'll need to find the Cranidos Fossil in the Grand Underground. Once you have the fossil, take it to the Fossil Reviver in Oreburgh City to bring Cranidos back to life.
